Employer Brand Blog – UX Improvements

I led an 8-month cross-functional team, focused on improving the user experience & business impact of the Facebook Life Blog.

Skills used: art direction, user experience, web design, interaction design, coding, vendor & stakeholder management, project management

The Challenge

Based on feedback from internal business stakeholders and job candidates, we identified the need to more easily allow candidates to find content relevant to their skills, interests and work experience on the Facebook Life Blog. We also wanted a way to feature content based on priority employer brand narratives & amplify diversity and culture stories. Creating a flexible design for the blog was also a priority, helping our team publish best-in-class content that aligns to Facebook employment brand standards.

Where we started

The existing Facebook Life Blog had been updated in the previous two years, but new opportunities to optimize the design & UX emerged after the first re-design launched.
