Facebook Employment Brand Illustrations

The Challenge

Our employment brand team needed to develop a series of illustrations that visually represented the content topics that are regularly shared on our social media channels and Facebook Careers website.


The Process & Partnership

Through a partnership with an external illustration agency, our team:

  • Gathered requirements & feedback from multiple cross-functional internal teams

  • Provided art direction and brand guidelines

  • Launched a series of employment brand illustrations to be used across media channels

Within our internal design team, I took a step back and acted as a creative coach for phase 2 of the project. I supported the project by providing art direction, brand strategy, client management, but mainly focused my energy on helping my teammate learn how to manage vendors, get budget approval, open PRs and POs, managing billing, provide creative direction to the vendor, and socialize illustrations with key stakeholders to make sure the deliverables were successful.
